ZCQ series vacuum degasser is a special equipment to get rid of invaded gas, can wipe off the invading gas soon, play important role on recalling drilling mud proportion, keeping drilling mud performance. At the same time, it can also be anagitator with big power, suitable for variable kinds of drilling fluids purification system.
Here's how it operates:
Vacuum Creation: A vacuum pump lowers the internal pressure within the degasser's chamber, creating a sub-atmospheric environment.
Fluid Inflow: Gas-laden drilling fluid is fed into the degassing chamber, typically through an inlet nozzle or spray system.
Gas Liberation: Under reduced pressure, gases (e.g., methane, hydrogen sulfide) separate from the fluid due to decreased solubility. The fluid is agitated or spread into thin films to enhance gas release.
Gas Extraction: Liberated gases are evacuated via the vacuum pump and vented safely away from the worksite.
Fluid Return: Degassed fluid exits the chamber and is recirculated into the active mud system.
