Degassers are designed to remove virtually all entrained gases from drilling mud, including H₂S and corrosive oxygen. 

ZCQ series vacuum degasser is a special equipment to get rid of invaded gas, canwipe off the invading gas soon, play important role on recalling drilling mudproportion, keeping drilling mud performance. At the same time, it can also be anagitator with big power, suitable for variable kinds of drilling fuids purification system.

Working Principle

This series of degasser belongs to the vacuum type degasser, that is, the use of vacuum pump suction, in the vacuum tank to create a negative pressure area, the mud in the atmospheric pressure, through the suction pipe into the hollow shaft of the rotor, and then by the hollow shaft around the window, was a jet thrown to the wall of the tank, due to the collision and the role of the foam separator, into the mud bubbles broken, the gas escaped through the vacuum pump , pumping to be discharged to the safety zone, the mud is due to self-weight into the emptying chamber, the rotor discharged to the safety zone, and the mud is due to self-weight into the emptying cavity. The slurry enters the emptying cavity due to self-weight and is discharged out of the tank through the rotor.
In addition, because the vacuum pump and motor start at the same time, the rotor connected with the motor is also rotating at high speed, so the slurry can only enter the tank from the suction pipe and will not be sucked in from the discharge pipe.
